Excellent Chinese food. They are now the number in phone that reads "Good Chinese Food". I change the number every time I move so that I always have a number for good Chinese food. We had the Mongolian beef, Tso chicken, chicken fried rice and chicken lo main. Excellent food. The fact they have a drive thru is an awesome bonus. We will be returning.

I remember coming here summer of '08, my first visit. I got the Orange Chicken and I haven't gotten anything else since. I have no imagination when it comes to food, bu it's the same deliciousness every time I order it. However when I tried my friend's General T-Pain (Tsao), it tasted the same as the Orange Chicken. It could have been an off day, but ANYWAY the quantity and quality are excellent at the price you pay. I still never finish in one sitting ;)

Honestly, I think China Wok mostly appeals to the hard core deal seekers out there. If all you care about is a plate of calories for a low price, you'll like it here. If you are more concerned about quality, you might want to look elsewhere. The food here has obviously been sitting under a heat lamp. If I want old, dried out food, I can go to Panda. The beef I had was chewy and almost inedible. The broccoli was very over cooked and mushy. The prices are dirt cheap, but I can get better Chinese for just a few dollars more across the street at Red Dragon. The chicken is dark meat, which I generally dislike in stir fry dishes. The fried chicken in things like orange chicken and general tso had the texture of a bad chicken nugget. I'm giving two stars because my husband swears by their noodle dishes. If you like Chinese noodles, you could give those a try. Otherwise, you can get better food in the neighborhood.

Decent Chinese fastfood. They do give you a lot of fried rice when you order their lunch special.

I've been searching for a decent Chinese restaurant here in Utah, and I decided to give this one a try because it had such good ratings on Yelp and Urbanspoon. I ordered a shrimp and broccoli combo plate, and after I ate it, I had big regrets. I admit that you get your money's worth when it comes to quantity, but the quality is not worth it at all. The food lacked in flavor. I had an awful aftertaste in my mouth. And all evening I felt sick. I do not recommend this place at all.

I don't understand the good reviews of this place. My food was pretty awful. I got sesame chicken take out. It was very bland, basically tasted like grease. One tiny chunk of ham in the fried rice completely overpowered any chicken flavor. Stomach felt uneasy the rest of the evening from all the grease. I'd much rather go to Panda Express.

egg foo young is awful!! it was more like an omelet it had huge broccoli pieces and mushrooms, the gravy was more like a beef broth with vinegar in it! not going back EVER!

BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK BETWEEN 11AM-3PM. GENERAL TSAO's nuff said!!! I used to frequest Peking Wok for the Broccoli Beef, but my co-workers converted me to a CHINA WOK - GENERAL TSAO's enthusiast. My doctor says I can only eat it 4 times per year, but believe me it's worth the risk!

I have been looking for a new regular Chinese place and this is going to be it. Food is good, staff friendly, facilities clean. Very good value. I will return many times.

I went here based on a recommendation of a few city employees and I was not let down. The staff was really nice and the food was quite good. The portion size is quite good, I actually took half for lunch the next day. I will for sure go back and would recommend China Wok to anybody that asks...

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
